Jazz Trumpeter, composer, arranger, author, and Professor of Jazz Trumpet/Jazz Studies at Florida State University, Scotty Barnhart, is in his sixteenth year as a featured soloist with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra.
Scotty has completed the four of five recording sessions for Unity Music on his debut CD. Musicians on the recording are Ellis Marsalis, Marcus Roberts, Herlin Riley, Jamie Davis, Todd Williams and his fellow FSU Professors Leon Anderson, Jr., Rodney Jordan, Bill Peterson
plus special trumpet guests.
