The Auburn Gold Country Jazz Concert featuring The Jamie Davis Quintet, is designed as a benefit for the Gold Country Young Life Organization of Auburn and the surrounding area. This joint music partnership with Unity Music LLC, Placer High School and many local businesses is designed to support local youth groups and encourage educational exposure to the arts.

Jamie Davis holds a position amongst the pantheon of great male vocalists with a full deep baritone voice that has been paired with some of the world’s most famous talent.
Clint Eastwood enthused by Jamie’s performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival said "...Jamie Davis is one of my favorite singers."
Davis was named the "chocolate voiced baritone" by Sir Michael Parkinson, the BBC's arbiter of important international jazz, after Jamie's performance in London with the BBC’s sixty-four piece Orchestra and Big Band.
